currently manages several projects utilizing automated fare
collection systems and contactless smart cards. With
contactless smart cards, transit fare is paid without the
complexities of token or paper ticket systems.
The cards are plastic containing an IC chip
and are approximately the same size as credit cards.
By simply passing the card in front of the
card validator the fare is automatically deducted
within .02 seconds from the amount deposited on the card.
The transit card and the validator
exchange information within a distance of approximately four
inches using Radio Frequency (RF) signals.
Smart cards can be used multiple times by
simply recharging the card at any conveniently located
recharging terminal or with our High
Quality Mobile Card Recharging Terminals.
